 National Investment Corporation/Marina Mall: (August 2006-Present)
Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Role: Chief Accountant
Company Profile: Marina Mall is a renowned shopping mall in Abu Dhabi.  Established during 2001 the Mall is running successfully and expanded with a steady pace for the last 12 years period. Marina Mall hosts different international brands and renowned retailers which made the Mall an attractive destination for the international visitors as well as local shoppers.
Responsibilities:-
·        Manage and supervise accounting and information system functions, including review and approve General Ledger transactions, Bank Transactions, Payable Transactions, Receivable Transactions, Payroll Transactions
·        Supervise accountants to prepare internal reports related to Fixed Assets, Payables, Receivables, Payroll, Service contracts
·        Review and verify Chilled Water Expenses / Marketing Expenses charged back to tenants are  in line with the Budgeted amount and analyze the variances
·        Review and verify Mall Service costs are accumulated correctly
·        Ensure CAPEX are spent as per approved budgeted allowance
·        Ensure correct capitalization and depreciation  of the Fixed Assets
·        Supporting Internal and External Auditors
·        Ensure monthly and yearly accounts closing is done strictly within set deadlines
·        Ensure Financial Reports are prepared and submitted to the Management in timely manner
·        Prepare and Compile yearly Budget
·        Prepare Cash forecast
·        Train team members on IFRS compliance, MS Dynamics ERP (Accounting System), FRX (Reporting tool) functions.

a)      Design and Implementation of “Micro Soft Dynamics GP (ERP System)”
b)     Gift Voucher Management System implementation and integration with “MS Dynamics GP”
c)      Employee Management System implementation and integration with “MS Dynamics GP”
d)     Designed and implemented Month-end closing timeline schedule in order to reduce the time-lags for closing process and Financial Reporting
